Nearly 8 years ago, we were introduced to mobile money service Mpesa. The concept was still new, and most Kenyans didn't understand how it worked. There were even fears that you could put your money inside your mobile phone only for it to vanish mysteriously --> a myth that did rounds back in 2007.
