Individuals using Mpesa and MTN mobile money platforms in East Africa will be able to transfer money between themselves following an agreement between MTN and Vodafone group to sync the two mobile money platforms together -- according to a press statement.
They also said that this interconnection between these two mobile money platforms will make remittance fees affordable between Mpesa users
